Theater Description:

The state-of-the-art Malecon 2000 IMAX® Theater, South America's first IMAX® theater, opened October 31, 2003 and is part of the Malecon 2000 Foundation's new large-scale urban renewal project.

The theater seats up to 188 people, houses a giant domed screen that spans 20 meters across, and uses a six-channel sound system comprised of 44 custom speakers.
