Theater Activities/Events:

Activity: The Museum halls house specimens ranging from the earliest forms of life to creatures from the recent past. Many of the over 800 pieces that are in the small fossil collection date as far back as the Middle Cambrian, 550 million years ago.

Featured in the permanent exhibits are prehistoric insects in solidified tree sap (amber), dozens of flying reptile restorations, two Tyrannosaurus rex fighting over a kill, a huge Brachiosaurus display, the 110-foot-long Supersaurus (never before publicly displayed), all adding spectacular dimension to the Grand Exhibit Hall.

Of special interest in the North Hall is the giant prehistoric turtle Archelon, measuring 15 feet from flipper tip to flipper tip.
