Theater Description:

The enormous dome of La Géode conceals a 400-seater cinema complete with a giant hemispheric screen measuring 1000 m2 across and 26 m in diametre.

La Géode has chosen the OMNIMAX® projection system, the hemispheric version of the IMAX® process.

On La Géode's giant hemispheric screen images are some 10 times larger than those in traditional cinema.

With the OMNIMAX® system the viewer is right at the very centre of the image.

Settle back in our reclining chairs as you discover, shiver and smile at La Géode... as you embark on spectacular and far-reaching journeys, as special effects dazzle your eyes, for guaranteed thrills.

• The cinema has wheelchair access for the disabled, although for reasons of security only 5 wheelchairs can be admitted per performance.
• Children under three years of age are not allowed.
• Not recommended for women over 6 months pregnant.
