Fires of Kuwait
Shot on location, FIRES OF KUWAIT takes viewers to the very centre of blazing fields of out-of-control oil fires. The film, which was nominated for an Academy Award, highlights the massive international firefighting effort launched after more than 600 oil wells were sabotaged by retreating Iraqi troops in the aftermath of the Gulf War. FIRES OF KUWAIT is a tribute to the firefighters' heroism and ingenuity and a celebration of their ultimate victory.
