Fast and Furious 5 is a 15 certificate film and continues where the previous film (Fast & Furious) left off, you join Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel), Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster) on a journey to avoid being caught by the police and completing the biggest job that has been attempted in the Fast and Furious series. The film continues from the cliff hanger at the end of Fast & Furious to find that Dominic is no doubt going to prison; predictably he is broken out whilst being transported across a desert. After a heist goes wrong in Rio they a DSS agent Luke Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and his team are sent to Rio to retrieve them and bring them back to America. Throughout the rest of the film Dominic and his group are preparing for a heist on the corrupt businessman Hernan Reyes (Joaquim de Almeida) which would get them $100 million and towards they actually execute their plan. Throughout this Luke Hobbs and his team are on their tracks and are never far behind, making watching this intense as you will think that it could be all over for them. The CGI is also up to par with what people expect from a film like this with the action packed car chases that makes Fast and Furious such an exciting franchise to follow. Also what makes this film so exciting is that it allows people to see what the want to be able to do, who doesn’t wan to be able to drive like Dominic or Brian in these films? With people envying the characters and their skills they are able to “escape” from real life problems and relax. In conclusion Fast and Furious 5 is an exciting film that will meet the consumers hunger for intense car chases and CGI to make explosions seem every bit more realistic. Although the plot is predictable to start off with but ends with an uncalled for twist. This film is worth seeing if you are a fan or the Fast and Furious Franchise or a fan of seeing CGI mixed with car chases in an epic and thrilling story. This combined with the amazing sound in the IMAX makes it feel like you are really there. ...
