The Harry Potter film franchise continues with the third installment, HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN. Digitally remastered, the film will be released in IMAX theaters in addition to conventional theatres in the summer of 2004.

The Harry Potter film franchise continues with the third installment, HARRY POTTER & THE PRISONER OF AZKABAN. A teenage Harry and his friends continue their studies at Hogwarts just as a new threat appears -- an escapee from the Wizards Prison and he's coming for Harry. Digitally remastered, the film was released in IMAX theaters in addition to conventional theatres in the summer of 2004.

NOTE: "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" has been digitally remastered for IMAX Theaters using the IMAX DMR conversion, a process that take a 35mm film print and outputs it to true 70mm size and resolution. The only other films before this to get the DMR conversion were "Apollo 13," "Star Wars: Episode II," "Matrix Reloaded" and "Matrix Revolutions." Any other Hollywood live-action films shown in the past on IMAX Screens were blown-up 35mm prints, and were not sanctioned by IMAX Corporation as "an IMAX Experience."
