Antarctica, a new release from GSF and noted Antarctic explorer Jon Bowermaster, won the “Exploration and Adventure” category, which recognizes the best film featuring ocean exploration, adventurous exploits, research expeditions or other activities relating to ocean discovery and understanding.

“When we embarked upon this project, one of our main goals was to communicate the grand sense of adventure still present in an Antarctic expedition,” said Jon Bowermaster, director of Antarctica. “It’s extremely gratifying to be recognized for this by Blue.”
